Polaroid Extreme Oversized Aviator Sunglasses
I don’t know why but I thought that there was some progression in this picture with a greenhouse (which John - pictured - sells) to glasses… to sunglasses… but now I come to write it down it makes less sense…
Anyway this is John who has never managed to keep a pair of sunglasses intact for long, who I persuaded to have a pair of new Polaroids (and then I had to teach him the tilty head polaroid appreciation trick. It worked best on the reflection on a car windscreen.) And the glasses are Polaroids Extreme X4907B, the “B” being for brown. He wears a lot of tweed, being horticultural. There’s something about him that said oversized Aviator.
Polaroid say that these are particularly excellent when you’re driving…with the larger lenses providing total eye protection. So I put John in his car - which unfortunately is in the grey/black pallet which I’d match with the grey lenses… but as I say John is usually a brown person.
Additional info: double bridge and comfort-fit arms/Lightweight frames with flexible dual-direction hinges/Anti-reflective and hydrophobic no-fog finish/Filter category 3/Polaroid polarized lenses/100% UV protection/Comes with premium Xoor hard case (£75 incl. P&P)
The fact that they bend both ways means that John won’t be able to break the arms (temples) off. The arms are pretty solid and well constructed so I think they have a good chance. Let’s come back to John later and see if he’s managed to reak these hard-to-break sunglasses…

He’d have to work hard to break these. The arms are solid and so is the fitting over the nose. I hope John gets plenty of use out of them.
